Pros of the DoorDash App

The app connects you with a vast variety of local restaurants, national chains, and retail stores in your area.
You can track your driver’s location on a map from the moment they pick up your order until it arrives.
You can request a drop-off at your door to avoid face-to-face interactions when your are busy or sick.

Cons of the DoorDash App

Menu items on the app are often 15% to 30% higher than in-restaurant prices.
Extra service fees, delivery charges, and taxes get piled onto an already inflated subtotal, making orders a lot more expensive.
To secure fast service, you must factor in driver tips, which increase the final price.
When a driver makes a mistake, handles food poorly, or takes too long, getting a refund or resolution from customer support can be deeply frustrating.
