A Meowtel cat sitter provides in-home care for cats through the Meowtel platform.
What Services Does Meowtel Offer?
- Drop-in visits: The sitter will visit your home once, twice, or even three times per day. These visits can be booked for 20-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute increments.
- Overnight stays: The sitter will stay overnight in your home for a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 14 hours, though this may vary slightly depending on the sitter’s schedule. Overnights include a dinner feeding and breakfast feeding the next morning.
- Note: Every visit, regardless of the service type, will include:
- Feeding and refreshing the water.
- Cleaning the litter box.
- Playtime and cuddles.

- Showcase your cat experience & knowledge
- Complete your sitter listing and set up your Service Zone (rates, availability, zip codes covered, and services offered)
- We’ll contact your references and conduct a background check paid for by Meowtel
- Demonstrate you’re ready to conduct reservations through a quiz
- Complete your Sitter Activation Call with a Meowtel team member.
For the Sitter Activation Call to be conducted, you must have a fully complete sitter listing. This includes:
- A professional profile photo and cat-centric gallery photo in your Sitter Photos section.
- Your Service Zone, the service types you want to offer as well as your rates.
- A thoughtful and informative “Sitter Bio”.
What Is Meowtels Commission Rate For Sitters?
Meowtel has a 4-tiered approach to sitter commissions. Sitters who consistently provide excellent service and win over more repeat clients will benefit the most.
- Tier 1: 30% commission for any client from whom you have earned $0-$299.
- Tier 2: 25% commission for any client from whom you have earned between $300-$999.
- Tier 3: 20% commission for any client from whom you have earned between $1,000-$2,999.
- Tier 4: 15% commission for any client from whom you have earned over $3,000.

- 18+.
- Passing the pre-screen quiz.
- Completing an application form.
- Meowtel conducting resume, background, and reference checks.
- Watching a sitter success video.
- Passing the sitter success quiz.
- Completing a Sitter Activation call with a Meowtel team member.
