What Is the Manitou Shuttle?

The Manitou shuttle is a free service that makes moving around town a breeze, especially during the summer months when finding parking is difficult.

Operating Hours

Route 33 Manitou Incline/Cog:

  • Seasonal service runs Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Off-season service runs Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Note: Off-season service runs from January through late April, and from late September through December.
  • It shares a stop with Route 3 at 10 Old Man’s Trail in Hiawatha Park.
  • This shuttle operates year-round, serving the Incline/Barr Trail, the Cog Railway, and downtown.
    • Note: Route 33 will not go all the way to the Manitou Incline or the Cog during inclement weather.

Route 36 Downtown Manitou Avenue:

  • This seasonal shuttle serves the east side of town, stopping at Fields Park (101 El Paso Blvd) and the downtown area.
  • Service runs Monday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
    • Note: The shuttle runs from late April through September.
