When I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken in Colorado Springs, I got the 1 tender + 1 slider w/ fries combo. The tender I got in medium heat and the slider I got in hot. For me the medium tasted like a regular tender, and the hot well to me the first bite was the hottest and definitely made me question why I got the hot. But, after that it wasn’t really that hot.
Fries
I’m not really a big fan of crinkle cut fries. However, with the seasoning they use on the fries at Dave’s they were definitely great.
Pros Of Dave’s Hot Chicken

- Great flavor.
- Cool atmosphere.
- Great prices for the food you get in the combo.
Cons Of Dave’s Hot Chicken
- Drink doesn’t come with the combo meal.
- Not that many food options.
Final Thoughts
The food and atmosphere at Dave’s Hot Chicken is great and the prices are definitely decent for the amount of food you get in a combo meal. However, I was shocked when you didn’t automatically get a drink with the combo, I guess that’s just something I’m used to automatically coming with a combo. Also, chicken really wasn’t that hot for the flavors I got which kind of shocked me, usually the regular hot flavor wherever you go has some kind of kick to it and this one really didn’t.
